Biosketch
Andrew received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Biosensing and Biorobotics Laboratory at the University of Minnesota in 2020, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2018. For his Ph.D., he is automating the microinjection of drosophila embryos via machine learning and computer vision algorithms, which he hopes to eventually apply to other microorganisms such as zebrafish and C. elegans.
