Zahra received an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, in 2018, an M.S. in Mechatronics from the University of Tabriz, Iran, in 2013, and her B.S. in Physics from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, in 2010. For her Ph.D. in the Biosensing and Biorobotics Laboratory, she is developing a novel method for minimally invasive deep brain neuromodulation as well as a multi-modal whole cortex sensing technology, which combines See-Shells with transparent ink-jet printed ECoG electrodes.
